A silver plated coffee pot measuring 9 1/2 in height. Made by'Elkington & Co' with date mark for 1886. This would make it a very early item of'White Star' table wear. Features a'White Star Line' emblem measuring 1 3/8" x 1". The pot is in super condition considering it's age, with expected scratches and wear.
However, there are no dents or any damage. Lid no longer closes tightly. Wonderful patina only a piece of this age and quality could possess.

All I do know is the property owner's great grandfather worked at Southampton docks in the early 20th century. The item "Early'White Star Line', Silver Plated Coffee Pot.
